Second Choir and Attendant Priest!

I managed to finish on November this models, my second Choir of Menoth and an Attendant Priest. Now only a unit of Bastions and the second Reclaimer is all I left unpainted for the protectorate. But that is going to change when the Judicator and Intercessor Kreoss arrive. So, I must hurry.

Logré terminar estos modelos en Noviembre, mi segundo Coro de Menoth y el Attendant Priest. Ahora sólo me queda una unidad de Bastions y el segundo Reclaimer sin pintar para el protectorado. Pero eso cambiará cuando llegue el Judicator e Intercessor Kreoss. Así que debo apresurarme.

A new project...

Now, with only 12 models to complete to finish all of my Protectorate of Menoth miniatures, a new project has been started, my vampire counts!
So, I started to paint my skeletons, and I primed my three 25-men units.
Ahora, con tan sólo 12 modelos del Protectorado de Menoth por terminar, un nuevo proyecto ha sido empezado, ¡mis condes vampiro!
Así que, empezé a pintar mis esqueletos, imprimando mis tres unidades de 25 efectivos.

I have spent almost all of this month on this, and so far I have 32 models ready, please take a look on them:

They don't have shields, because I really like the ones from the 7th edition skeletons, so I bought some on Ebay and when they arrive, I'll paint them and attach them to the skeletons.
You can see some non human skeletons, orc and skaven. I bought some of the 5th edition mercenary unit, the cursed company, to add more flavor to my units. The necromancer in the middle is from reaper miniatures.
The bone was simple to paint. Bone primer from Army painter, then devlan mud wash, dry brush with bleached bone and finally dry brush with skull white.
No tienen escudos, porque realmente me han gustado los de los esqueletos de 7ma edición, así que compré algunos en Ebay y cuando lleguen, los pintaré y se los pegaré a los esqueletos.
Podrán ver algunos esqueletos no humanos, orco y skaven. Compré algunos de la unidad mercenaria de 5ta edición, la compañía maldita, para agregar variedad a mis unidades. La nigromante del medio es de reaper miniatures.
El hueso fue sencillo de pintar. Imprimante Hueso de Army Painter, luego tinta devlan mud, pincel seco bleached bone y finalmente pincel seco con skull white.

More Knights Exemplar!

Yesterday I finished my second unit of Knights Exemplar, now I have 168 of 181 miniatures painted! (for the Protectorate) I just need to finish a Choir of Menoth, a Reclaimer, an Attendant Priest and a unit of Exemplar Bastions to reach 100%.
Ayer terminé mi segunda unidad de Knights Exemplar, ahora tengo 168 de 181 miniaturas pintadas! (para el Protectorado) Sólo necesito terminar un Coro de Menoth, un reclaimer, un Attendant Priest y una unidad de Exemplar Bastions para llegar al 100%.

Multijack 2 and Sir Ekkrion

Imperial guard with power axe!

After 6th edition all of my Cadian Sargents filled an application to obtain a power axe. So I bought some black templar's power axes on Bits and Kits, and carefully remove the chainsword from the hand of a sargent close combat weapon arm. Then I glued the axe I removed from the black templar's arm. Simple but effective, don't you think? Now, because I have the arms magnetized I have the chainsword, power sword and power axe choices.
Después de 6ta edición todos mis Sargentos de Cadia llenaron un formulario para obtener un hacha de energía. Así que compré algunas hachas de nergía en Bits and Kits, y cuidadosamente removí la espada sierra de la mano de un brazo de arma de combate de sargento. Entonces pegué el hacha que removí del brazo templario. Simple, pero efectivo, ¿no creen? Ahora, debido a que tengo los brazos magnetizados, tengo las opciones de espada sierra, espada de energía y hacha de energía.

More for the Protectorate

I finished this models on last week, but I took the pictures today. Anyways, here is the third Crusader, the second Vassal Mechanik and the second Vassal of Menoth.
Terminé estos modelos hace una semana, pero les tomé fotos hoy. De cualquier modo, acá está mi tercer Cruzado, el segundo Vasallo Mekánico y el segundo Vasallo de Menoth.

Protectorate of Menoth completed!

When I started this, it seems that I'll never was going to claim this objective as completed, but today I finish to paint every model currently available for the Protectorate! I'm very happy and now I'm going to finish the few duplicated models I have for the Faction. Hope to finish them all before the Judicator and Intercessor Kreoss arrives into my home on November. Then I'm going to move into my next army, but what army would be? I have 4 WFB armies and 2 40k armies. And I must hurry before May comes and Relic Knights arrive!
For now, here are the pictures of the Idrians and the whole army deployed.
Cuando empezé esto, parecía que nunca llegaría a reclamar como completo este objetivo, ¡pero hoy he terminado de pintar todos los modelos disponibles actualmente para el Protectorado! Estoy muy contento y ahora terminaré los poicos modelos duplicados que tengo para la Facción. Espero terminarlos antes de que el Judicator y Intercessor Kreoss llegen a casa en Noviembre. Entonces seguiré con mi siguiente ejército, ¿pero cual podrá ser? Tengo 4 ejércitos de WFB y 2 ejércitos de 40k. ¡Y debo apresurarme antes que llegue Mayo y llegue Relic Knights!

Sanctifier!

The Sanctifier is ready! For this model's black I use a simple combination, Chaos Black base and then highlight with Charadon Granite.
I have now at least one of every Protectorate of Menoth warjack painted! This pushes me to paint the idrians, the only models from the Protectorate that I didn't painted yet.
¡El Sanctifier está listo! Para el negro de este modelo usé una combinación sencilla, base de Chaos Black  y luego iluminado con Charadon Granite.
¡Tengo ahora al menos uno de cada warjack del Protectorado de Menoth pintado! Esto me lleva a pintar los idirans, los únicos modelos del Protectorado que no he pintado aún.

Supporting Relic Knights!

It's official, I'm supporting the Relic Knights Kickstarter.
I'm pledging for the gotta catch em all level, and will ask for all factions except corsairs (and 2x doctrine). For me, I will keep the Black Diamond and probably Cerci, Noh empire is going to be my wife's faction and the other three goes to one of my cousins, and two friends.
Es oficial, estoy apoyando el Kickstarter de Relic Knights.
Mi contribución es para el nivel "atrápalos a todos", y pediré todas las facciones excepto corsarios (y 2x doctrina).
Para mi, conservaré Diamante Negro y probablemente Cerci, el imperio Noh será la facción de mi esposa y las otras tres irán a uno de mis primos, y a dos amigos.

The Testament of Menoth!

Finally, the last of the Protectorate unpainted warcasters has been painted, the Testament of Menoth! I'm working now on the Sanctifier, hope to finish it soon.

Magnetizing the Castigator/Reckoner/Sanctifier

I have magnetized one of my two new plastic kits. I used 10 2x1mm disk magnets and 8 3x1mm disk magnets.
I added a pin to the right arm that can be inserted in one of two holes I drilled on the shoulder, that way the arm doesn't fell so loose. Same for the right hands and the wrist (but have the pin on the wrist and just one hole on the hands).
For the castigator arms, I bent the hoses with a hair dryer to adjust them to the position in which they fits perfectly with the magnets.
Here are some pictures of all three options and where I've put the magnets:
He magnetizado uno de mis dos kits nuevos de plástico. He usado 10 imanes de disco de 2x1mm y 7 imanes de disco de 3x1mm.
Agregué un alambre en el brazo derecho que puede ser insertado en uno de dos agujeros que taladré en el hombro, de esa forma el brazo no queda tan suelto. Lo mismo para las manos y la muñeca (pero el alambre está en la muñeca y solo un agujero en las manos).
Para los brazos del castigator, doblé las mangueras con un secador de pelo para ajustarlas en la posición donde encajan perfecto con los imanes.

Magnetized Crusader/Templar/Vanquisher and Feora.

I was able to finish two models since my last post. The first is the magnetized Crusader/templar/Vanquisher. I already own one of each of those warjacks (two Crusaders in fact), but sometimes I wanted to have a second Vanquisher or a second Templar, even a third Crusader for Harbinger's 25 point tier 4 list, so I bought one plastic kit to magnetize it. The first problem was magnetizing the Templar's shield, and having no easy solution for this, I went to Ebay and bought a pair of plasticCrusader arms on Hoard'O Bits (I love that store). The rest was pretty straightforward.

Fui capaz de terminar dos modelos desde mi última publicación. El primero es el Crusader/Templar/Vanquisher magnetizado. Ya poseo uno de cada uno de estos warjacks (dos Crusaders de hecho), pero a veces hubiera querido tener un segundo Templar o un segundo Vanquisher, incluso un tercer Crusader para la lista de tier 4 de la heraldo a 25 puntos, así que compré uno plástico y lo magneticé. El primer problema fue magnetizar el escudo del Templar, y al no tener una solución fácil para ello, fuí a Ebay y compré un set de brazos de Crusader de plástico en Hoard'O Bits (me encanta esa tienda). El resto fue en verdad simple y directo.

And I painted Feora, priestess of the flame too! Now the Testament is the only menite warcaster I haven't painted yet, and I'm going to change that this week.

¡Y pinté a Feora, la sacerdotisa de la llama también! Ahora el Testament es el único warcaster menita que no he pintado aún, y voy a cambiar eso esta semana.

Nicia and Allegiant of the Order of the Fist!

Hi, a few days ago I finished those models, with those I have painted once each solo for the Protectorate. I'm finishing  the plastic Crusader/Templar/Vanquisher and after it, I'm going to paint the Sanctifier, to have one of each warjack painted, or maybe I should paint Feora and the Testament? I don't know.
Hola, algunos días atrás terminé estos modelos, con ellos ya he pintado una vez cada sólo del Protectorado. Estoy terminando el Crusader/Templar/Vanquisher plástico y luego de eso, voy a pintar el Sanctifier, para tener uno de cada warjack pintado, ¿o quizá debería pintar a Feora y el Testament? No lo sé.
