Menoth Updates

Long time since last time I posted anything, but I'm back.
This time I want to show you some models I've painted for Menoth and a nice picture of the painted part of my army.
I'm working on the battle engine, and afterwards I'm going to paint the Avatar and the Guardian.

Warhound Titan! III

At last some progress to be shown!
I already primed the pieces, and give the base color to most of them (codex grey). I started to paint one of the legs, and I choose as a secondary color charadon granite.
So for the armour of the Titan, I apply a layer of codex grey, then a layer of 1:1 codex grey + fortress grey on the borders, and then a fortress grey line in the border. For the metallic on the legs I used vallejo's air model metallic paint.
I also finished the detailed interior of the engine room and of the elevator room. It took me a very long time to complete, but I finished at last.
But it is enough of text, and time for pictures!

Al fin algún progreso que mostrar!

Ya he imprimado las piezas, y les he dado la capa base a la mayoría (codex grey). Empecé a pintar una de las piernas, y he elegido como color secundario charadon granite.

Así que para la armadura del Titan, apliqué una capa de codex grey, luego una
capa de 1:1 codex grey + fortress grey en los bordes, y luego una línea de fortress grey en el borde. Para el metálico de las piernas he usado la pintura metal de vallejo model air.

Además he finalizado el interior detallado de la sala de máquinas y de la sala del elevador. Me ha tomado bastante tiempo completarlos, pero los terminé al fin.

Pero es suficiente de texto, y hora de las imágenes!

Warhound Titan! II

Obviously I cannot restrain myself of starting to build the titan, and after sanding and washing all the pieces for the feet and the legs, I assembled them. 44 pieces just for the feet, and 34 for both legs... the level of detail is outstanding...

What I want to share today is my new project for this winter, the mighty Wolf Class Warhound Titan.
It is beautiful, full of details. Very well crafted, this will be the center piece for all of my future apocalypse games. Until now, I already reviewed all the pieces and saw all the tags. Here are some pictures!

Exemplar Cinerators and Templar

Long time since my last posting. I was on medical leave due to back problems, but I'm better now, and with one unit and a warjack to show!
Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde mi última publicación. Estuve con licencia médica debido a problemas en la espalda, pero ya estoy mejor, ¡y con una una unidad y un warjack que mostrar!

And I only took me a few hours over three days to paint this warjack, the Templar. The plastic warjacks are much easier to paint:

Exemplar Knights and soul markers

Long time without posting anything, this time I want to show you my last painting job, the Exemplar Knights and some soul markers. The shoulder pads where a bit tricky to ensamble and paint, and I was forced to unglue the arms in order to paint them properly.
The soul markers was painted with a white basecoat, scorpion green as a base color, then a mix with 1 part of citadel green ink, one part of citadel yellow ink and 5 parts of water. The inks I used are the old and discontinued ones. After that I applied a highlight with scorpion green and finally a drybrush with sunburst yellow. I like the result.

Bastante tiempo sin publicar nada, esta vez quisiera mostrarles mi último trabajo de pintura, los Exemplar Knights y algunos marcadores de almas. Las hombreras fueron un poco complicadas de armar y pintar, y me vi obligado a despegar los brazos para poder pintarlas adecuadamente.
Los marcadores de almas fueron pintados con imprimaci´n blanca, usé scorpion green como color base, luego una mezcla de 1 parte de green ink, 1 parte de yellow ink y 5 partes de agua. Las tintas que usé son las antiguas y ya descontinuadas. Después de eso, apliqué un iluminado con scorpion green y finalmente un pincel seco con sunburst yellow. Me gustó el resultado.

I'm going to sign up with a goblin list from warhammer fantasy for a painting activity during april and may, so you can see not only menoth on those months, but a lot of goblins too!
