I finished it at last! Just remember to not fully assemble this model if you want to paint it, I did and it was very difficult to paint because of that. I use the same schema used for the dire wolves.

Power weapons!
I'm going to participate on a Warhammer 40k league, and to be prepared for it, I finally started to build some power weapons for my sergeants. After playing around with my drill, this where the results:
Voy a participar en una liga de Warhammer 40k, y para estar preparado para ella, finalmente empecé a armar algunas armas de energía para mis sargentos. Después de jugar con el taladro, estos son los resultados:
The arms are magnetized, so I can swap between any of the power weapons or with the normal c/c weapon.
Los brazos están magnetizados, de forma de que puedo cambiar entre cualquiera de las armas de energía o el arma normal de c/c.

More undead! Dire wolves and Crypt Horrors
Thanks to the Carpe Noctem forum members for their great paint tips.
En dos semanas estaré participando de un torneo de Warhammer Fantasy. Mi meta es llevar un ejército de 2500 puntos complatamente pintado, así que en las últimas semanas he estado pintando las últimas unidades que no tenían pintura. Acá están, 10 lobos espectrales, y 6 horrores de la cripta. ¿Pueden distinguir cuales horrores de la cripta tienen las piernas y el torso hechos de masilla gris?

You'll notice the tombstones that I used on the crypt horror's bases. I bought a bunch of plastic ones from Renedra and more from an ebay seller, miniature.architects. I highly recommend both sellers. Now my Vampire Counts army will be cemetery themed. Oh, I almost forgot, I painted my Strigoi Ghoul King too!

Skeletons and Mortis Engine
Well, after a long and well deserved vacations (that included a trip to Brazil), I'm back with my February work. First, my skeletons. I finished my three units:

This last week I worked on the Mortis Engine, using the same technique I used on the ethereal before. I'm very happy with the result.

I finished him! And he's amazing! I'm planning to field him and the Vengers on next Sunday. I'll try to make a battle report.

Praise to Menoth! First steamroller tournament 2013
Last Saturday was the first steamroller tournament with the 2013 rules on my city.
I won't be able to resist the temptation to bring the Judicator to the table, so as the tournament was at 25 points, my two list were:

Round 1, vs Retribution of Scyrah: I choose epic Feora for this round, knowing that the Harbinger doesn't stand very well against the elves. Scenario 1, close quarters. I have to control (1cp) or dominate (2cp) the enemy flag, or dominate (1cp) my own flag. This scenario had the killbox rule.
While I tried to set his army on fire with the bonded Judicator, my oponent forgot the killbox, scoring 2 cp for me. On the next turn he heavy damage my reckoner but again forgot the killbox, scoring another 2 cp for me, so I whipe out the mage hunters that was on my own flag and dominate it with my caster to score 1 cp and win through scenario.
Ronda 1, vs Retribución de Scyrah: Elegí a Feora épica para esta ronda, sabiendo que la Heraldo no soportaría muy bien contra los elfos. Escenario 1, close quarters. Tenía que controlar (1cp) o dominar (2cp) la bandera enemiga, o dominar (1cp) mi bandera. EL escenario tenía killbox.
Cuando trataba de prender su ejército en fuego con el Judicator, mi oponente olvidó el killbox, dandome 2 cp. En el siguiente turno dañó seriamente mi reckoner, pero nuevamente olvidó el killbox, dándome otros 2 cp, así que eliminé a los mage hunters que estaban en mi bandera y la dominé con mi caster para ganar 1 cp y ganar por escenario.
Next oponent, Blindwater Congregation. I choose the Harbinger as my caster. Scenario Outflank, Outfight, Outlast. Against my 4 heavy warjacks with only 2 heavy warbeasts, my oponent wasn't able to be too much aggressive, and as I started, and feated on my second turn, his attempts to deny me the control of the zones cost him a lot of damage on his miniatures, so I pretty much destroyed almost all of his army before I won through cp. The key for my victory was purification, who allowed to get ride of the iron flesh and the spiny growth.
Siguiente oponente, Blindwater Congregation. Elegí a la Heraldo como mi caster. Escenario Outflank, Outfight, Outlast. COntra mis 4 jacks pesados con sólo 2 bestias pesadas, mi oponente no fue capaz de ser muy agresivo, y como yo partí, y lanzé el feat en mi segundo turno, sus intentos por denegarme las zonas de control le costaron un montón de daño en sus miniaturas, así que practicamente destruí a su ejército antes de ganar por cp. La llave para mi victoria fue purificación, que me permitió deshacerme de iron flesh y spiny growth.
My third game was Incoming, against Scyrah. So epic Feora went to battle.
This was a very tight game, and I feared when Kaelyssa casted Backlash on the Judicator and then a lot of the mage hunters damage it. With only 8 damage points left, I noticed how close Kaelyssa was, and I allocated 4 focus to the Judicator, cast ignite on it, singing Battle with the choir and trampling to her, smashing the dawnguard sentinels that was on melee with the Judicator on the process. So I bought one attack, boosted to hit, impacting her and left her on fire with only one damage point left. I bought a second attack... and hit!, I won through caster kill.
Mi tercer juego fue contrá Scyrah. Así que Feora épica fue a la batalla.
Este fue un juego muy reñido, y temí cuando Kaelyssa lanzó Backlash en el Judicator y luego un montón de mage hunters lo dañaron. COn sólo 8 puntos de daño restantes, noté que tan cerca estaba Kaelyssa, y le puse 4 focos al Judicator, lanzando ignite en él, cantando Batalla con el coro y haciendo un Trample hacia ella, destruyendo a los dawnguard sentinels que estaban en melee con el Judicator en el proceso. Así que compré un ataque, potencié para impactar, impactandola y dejandola en fuego y con un punto de daño restante. Compré un segundo ataque... e impacté!, gané por caster kill
The fourth game was against Khador, Rallying Point. I won't was able to claim any CP, and Strakov claimed 3, and thanks to his feat, his warjacks heavily damaged the Judicator, but then it destroyed the two khadoran heavy jacks with his 6 p+s 24 attacks. When on my next turn I had a clear charge line to his caster, dice down was called, so I lost.
El cuarto juego fue contra khador, Rallying Point. No fui capaz de sacar ningún CP, y Strakov ganó 3, y gracias a su feat, sus warjack dañaron gravenemte al Judicator, pero luego él destrozó a los dos jacks pesados khadoranos con 6 ataques de p+s 24. But surprise! I was one of the three players who had 3 victories, and all 3 had 10 control points, so the winner was decided using the points of destroyed models... and I won! 83 points of destroyed models vs the 72 points of the second place.
